This week was a big week for the ‘Cats as they went to Orlando and knocked off the Knights in the Bounce House 36-33 and then got some huge news from the College Football Playoff selection committee.  Also, with this week’s cancellation against Temple they’ve punched their ticket to the AAC Championship Game on 12/19.
The #7 Bearcats took the wind out of the Pirates sails on Senior Night, going back to the locker room with a 55-17 victory.  Bearcats Desmond Ridder and LB Jarrell White won American Athletic Conference Player of the Week Awards for their performance.
In memory of Alex Trebek: Which NCAA Division I Football Team won by 28 points and fell from #6 to #7 in this week’s AP Poll?  If you answered the Cincinnati Bearcats, you would be right.
Your 2020 Cincinnati Bearcats are now 5-0 and the #6 team in the country.  The Memphis Tigers came into Nippert Stadium absolutely clueless and got shellacked 49-10 on a sunny Saturday at Nippert Stadium.  Things are looking toward having a special season and starting the New Year off right in a major bowl game or even… the College Football Playoff.
I was writing last week’s email when the news dropped that our game last week against Tulsa was postponed until 12/5.  As of today, it sounds like everything has worked its way out and the Bearcats are in good shape for this Saturday’s game against the SMU Mustangs.

2019 Bearcats Bowl Planning

After picking up win number 6 on 10/19, the Bearcats punched their 2nd bowl trip in a row with 5 games remaining.
