08/31/2024 – Towson Tigers @ Cincinnati Bearcats
The Bearcats return to Historic Nippert Stadium (about 4 weeks before the 100th anniversary of the dedication) and the Republic of Cincinnati returns for our 13th season of tailgating!
While many questions remain about the 2024 Bearcats football team, we plan to keep making memories and, as always, invite you to join us!
With questionable weather on the way, we’ll have a couple of pop-ups, the trailer awning, and a limited number of ponchos to keep the rain from ruining our fun.
This game is a designated WHITE OUT & you’re encouraged to participate. We will have an extremely limited supply of white tees available for sale – bring cash for the box or scan the QR code.
Tailgate info:
What: Cincinnati Bearcats host the Towson Tigers.
When: Saturday, August 31, 2024. Kickoff time is 2:30pm, the trailer will be set up by 9:30am and we will begin cleaning up/tearing down around 60 mins before kickoff to allow plenty of time for everyone to get to their seats for kickoff.
Where: Tailgate Alley at the Grid, Sigma Sigma Commons, University of Cincinnati main campus – spot #3. Park in a garage or on nearby streets and walk over to the tailgate. If you’ll already be at The Grid, feel free to stop by to say hello!
Menu:
- Baltimore Pit Beef Sliders
- Pulled Pork
- Pit Beans, Coleslaw, and misc other sides
- Cookies & various desserts
- Cooler stocked with Cincy Light + NA cooler with water, Coke, Diet Coke, & juice for the kiddos
Who: All are welcome (as long as you can abide by some simple rules)! This is a “community” style tailgate. We always have extra food, but plan accordingly if you intend to eat.
