One of the most anticipated games of the 2022 Season is here, and it’s the first game for the Razorbacks and Bearcats. One of 3 Top 25 Match-Ups on the schedule this weekend, the Bearcats travel to Fayetteville to take on Sam Pittman and his Arkansas Razorbacks. Does dual threat running back KJ Jefferson lead the Hogs to a victory? Who takes the first snap for the Bearcats? Time to break down this highly anticipated game to kick off the season. The winner likely finds their way into the Top 15 in the country with a victory. The Razorbacks and Bearcats have never met on the Grid Iron, do the Bearcats take a 1-0 lead in the series?

After a season that most of us could only dream of a few years ago, the Cincinnati Bearcats ended last season with a loss to Alabama in the College Football Playoff Semi-Final at the Cotton Bowl. The Bearcats had 9 players taken in the 2022 NFL Draft. After years of stacking talent, it’s time to see if Fickell’s mantra of “Iron Sharpens Iron” comes to fruition. Desmond Ridder has moved onto the NFL and looks to get meaningful playing time for the Atlanta Falcons after leaving UC as the 3rd all-time Winningest QB in college football history. Alec Pierce and Jerome Ford look to be contributors from day one as well. The Bearcat offense returns more than the defense, but looks to have the biggest changes as Gino Guidugli takes the keys to the offense from Mike Denbrock.

Throughout Fickell’s tenure we’ve lost some strong defenders, but none to the caliber of Sauce Gardner, Coby Bryant, and company.

The Bearcats finally busted through the glass ceiling and punched their ticket to the College Football Playoff, after 2 consecutive undefeated regular seasons. Their prize? A trip to Arlington and the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic where they get arguably the greatest dynasty in college football’s history, Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide. It’ll be a tough test for the Bearcats as they make the journey to Arlington, Texas as 13.5 point underdogs. As Ric Flair said, “If you want to be the man, you’ve got to beat the man.” I’ll break down the Alabama defense featuring the 5th place Heisman vote getter Will Anderson. Anderson is one of the nastiest players in college football. Can the Bearcats Offensive Line slow down Anderson and give Desmond Ridder time to keep the ‘Cats in the game?

After a week of fun in the sun, I’m back from Florida!  The Bearcats are too!  The Bearcats dominated the first half against the Bulls, but had a bit of a scare in Tampa.  How will SMU hold up against the Bearcats?  Revenge is on the Mustangs minds, but do they have enough to knock the Bearcats out of the CFI?

Twenty four Cincinnati Bearcats will hear their names called at a Senior Day Ceremony before our game against SMU on 11/20.  All 24 of these players have contributed to this Bearcats program and should be cheered for prior to the game.  How has each of these young men contributed to the Bearcats program?

With perhaps a few more eyeballs on this site than normal due to College Gameday exposure, we wanted to provide some easy ways to help support our efforts to support…

After a week of highs and lows for Bearcat Nation, we’re finally ready for Game Day and GameDay. The Bearcats host College GameDay and a match-up against the College Football Invitational Committee and ESPN before taking the field against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. How will the Bearcats stack up against the 2020 West Division Champs?
