09/02/23 – EKU Colonels @ Cincinnati Bearcats
A new conference…a new coaching staff…many new faces, including a new QB…a new logo on the uniforms…
…but one thing remains the same – The Republic of Cincinnati will be there 6 hours before kickoff to get this season started right! We are an exclusively Cincy Light tailgate this season (although other local breweries, let’s talk if you want to collab on “RoC Lite! 🤙) and will have the following on the TVs:
- 10am – Big Noon Kickoff (Fox)
- 12pm – Colorado @ TCU (Fox)
- 12pm – Virginia @ Tennessee (ABC)
Tailgate info:
What: Cincinnati Bearcats host the EKU Colonels.
When: Saturday, September 2, 2023. Kickoff time is 3:30pm, the trailer will be set up by 9:30am and we will begin cleaning up/tearing down around 2:45pm to allow plenty of time for everyone to get to their seats prior to kickoff.
Where: Tailgate Alley at the Grid, Sigma Sigma Commons, University of Cincinnati main campus – spot #3. Park in a garage or on nearby streets and walk over to the tailgate. If you’ll already be at The Grid, feel free to stop by to say hello!
Menu:
- BBQ pulled pork, mac & cheese, coleslaw, cheesy potatoes, and other misc sides
- Chips + Buffalo chicken dip & Skyline dip
- Bottled water, juice for the kiddos, and Cincy Light for the big kids.
Who: All are welcome (as long as you can abide by some simple rules)! This is a “community” style tailgate. We always have extra food, but plan accordingly if you intend to eat.
