09/08/18 – Cincinnati Bearcats @ Miami Redhawks
The Bearcats return to the Queen City with a 1-0 record after surprising the UCLA Bruins in the Rose Bowl and, perhaps, some unexpected swagger. It’s now time for the 123rd Battle for the Victory Bell and for the Bearcats to retain the Victory Bell for the 13th year in a row!
Although we just made a trip to Oxford last season, the Bearcats are technically the visitors at this year’s matchup at Paul Brown Stadium due to the Victory Bell extension through 2029 that was agreed to in 2017.
For this first tailgate of the year, we’re joining forces with fellow CAT (Cincinnati Association of Tailgaters) members: LucyGate, The Den, Red & Black Brigade, and others!

What:
Who: All are welcome! This is a “community” style tailgate – BYOB. We always have extra food, but plan accordingly if you intend to eat. Most importantly, come prepared to have fun!
You’re welcome (and encouraged) to contribute – feel free to bring some “community” beer to throw in the big, white cooler or stuff some money in the donation box located near the food table. Contributions are not required but go a long way to helping our tailgate to grow.
When: Kickoff is at 8pm EST – we anticipate being in the Longworth Hall ready to tailgate by 2:30pm.
Where: This “away” game is at Paul Brown Stadium, so we’ll be taking over Longworth Hall. Approximate tailgate location is shown on the maps below:
