UC Tailgating Groups:

Bearcat Tailgaters:

facebook / @bcattailgater

The BearcatTailgaters are the pioneers of UC tailgating.  While there have no doubt been fans that have tailgated for many more years, these guys were one of the first to organize and mobilize UC fans, both at home and on the road, establishing a true community amongst fans longing for that "big time" college football atmosphere.

At home, they can be found at Tailgate Alley (spot #2) at The Grid (our neighbors).  For details about their tailgates, home and away, check out their website.

Spot #1 on the "Tailgate Alley" next to the Grid at Sigma Sigma Commons.  Already known for great food and a welcoming atmosphere, it's safe to say that their tailgates will continue to grow with such a prime spot at the entrance to campus' largest tailgate.  They operate a facebook group where tailgates are organized and all plans are announced.

BarCat & Grille:

This converted pop up camper is now a rolling Bearcat bar and grille on wheels!  Check them out at Tailgate Alley (spot #5) at The Grid and sign the roof!

BearcatChad's panel van:

Find this sweet ride at the Martino's lot prior to home games!

Brad Peyton submitted:

"Our group, the "BeerCats", starts tailgating early and ends late - minimum of 4 hours prior to kickoff.  Our on campus home has been "grid site #4" for the last few years.  We usually make at least two road games and have represented all of the recent bowl games going back to the '10 Sugar Bowl.  GO CATS!"

UC's #1 spirit organization sets up their tailgate at The Grid for all home games.  They sell $1 beers and bring the "student section" excitement to the CATWALK.  This is a great option for those of you who just want to show up and have a good time and not have to deal with grills, coolers, etc.  Their motto says it all:  "They Play the Game, We Make the Noise" !

Red & Black Brigade:

website @BrigadeTailgate

A student organized tailgate at the Views on Vine parking lot (spaces 63 & 64), comprised of current students, new alumni, and their families.  Powered by school spirit, the Red & Black Briadge is up bright and early at 9am with their new MOBILE B.A.R. (Bearcat Alcohol Reservoir).  Pooling their money, they are able to provide the University of Cincinnati with another outstanding tailgate option.  All are welcome, the Red & Black shall reign!

The Den:

Themed tailgates at The Grid, geared to students and young alumni.  Check out their website.

UC Alumni Assocation - Bearcats Blitz:

There's no better way for alumni to celebrate game day than the Bearcats Blitz.  Join the UC Alumni Association at Myers Alumni Center starting four hours before every home football game for a supercharged tailgate party, including big screen TVs, cash bar, UC bookstore kiosk, and more!

Short Vine:

A new tailgating opportunity for 2015.  Starting at 1:30pm on gamedays, the 2600 and 2700 blocks of Short Vine will be closed down for tailgating.  By creating ~60 new tailgating spots, in addition to nearby businesses, we'd suggest keeping an eye on this new opportunity that is a short walk to Nippert.
