11/25/17 - Connecticut Huskies @ Cincinnati Bearcats

Posted on

Let's get the negatives out of the way...our Bearcats are currently 3-8 and are assured of their first back-to-back losing seasons since 1998 (2-9) & 1999 (3-8) under coach Rick Minter.

Only positives from here...

  • Coach Fickell currently has the 2nd best recruiting class in the AAC for 2018, including some incredible local talent
  • Regardless of this game's outcome, the offseason starts tomorrow and the coaches can continue to work to solidify the class and fill weaknesses for next season
  • Weather forecasts are showing low to mid 50's at kickoff with sun and 0% chance of precipitation
  • We get to break out the tailgating gear one last time before the dreaded offseason
  • (our basketball team is REALLY good and should allow us to forget about the pigskin pretty quickly)

Last but not least, our tweet from a few days ago:

Thank you seniors!
